    Open a report

    1. Sign in to Median and choose Reports from the main navigation.
    2. Select the legal entity or reporting scope you need when a scope selector is shown.
    3. Choose a report from the list, such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, General Ledger, Trial Balance, A/R Aging, or A/P Aging. The reports available depend on your company and reporting setup.

    Check the report period

Read the period or as-of date displayed with the report before using or exporting it. The date controls vary by report. If you are viewing a consolidated report, the app may require an issued period or a supported reporting scope.

Some companies see a setup or books-in-progress message instead of report data. If Median says reports are still being prepared, contact your accountant through Inbox rather than treating an empty screen as a zero balance.

    Export a report

    1. Open the report and check the company or entity and displayed date again.
    2. Choose Export on the report.
    3. Choose CSV or PDF if those formats are enabled. XLSX is labeled as coming soon in the current export menu.
    4. Open the downloaded file and confirm its report name and period before sharing it.

If a report or export is unavailable

    • If the report list is locked while books are being prepared, ask your accountant when reporting will be available.
    • If you selected a group or consolidated scope that the report does not support, select the legal entity or issued scope requested by the page.
    • If export fails, retry once after confirming the report has finished loading. Include the report name, entity, period, and displayed error in an Inbox message.
