    Open Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector. Paste the server URL below, choose Add, then Connect and authorize your Median account.

    After adding the URL, choose Connect and sign in to Median to approve access. Claude remote connectors are available on Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans. Team and Enterprise workspaces may require an owner to add the connector first.

    Once preview access is enabled, there is no separate add-on for the Claude connection. Median does the bookkeeping, and the MCP server, reports, and answers come with it. Under $1M in annual revenue you pay one flat monthly fee set by your revenue band: $200 / mo under $250K and $500 / mo from $250K to $1M, with no seat fees.     Median provides a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets Claude read financial data available to your Median account. It reads your Median books, not your QuickBooks account directly. After your books are onboarded and data access is enabled, Claude can query authorized financial data and reports. Connector access is read-only.

    Yes. The Claude connector uses OAuth for company-scoped, read-only access based on the signed-in user's Median permissions, which are checked on each request. It cannot post, edit, or delete entries, move money, or change settings. Forecast sandbox tools are not available through this Claude connection.
