Forward receipts and documents
If the address is not ready, the page may say Median will set it up or that it will appear after you enter your business name. Continue with other available setup tasks.
- In Your setup, open Documents and receipts.
- Copy the forwarding address shown for your company.
- Forward receipts and documents to that address. The setup page confirms the address was copied; it does not confirm that a particular forwarded file was received or reviewed.
Upload a file in Median
- Open Data feed or Feed, then choose the Documents tab.
- Choose Upload, then drop files into the upload area or click to browse.
- Check the file types and size limit shown in the upload window for your account, select the files, and complete the upload.
- Look for the uploaded document in the Documents list. A listed document confirms upload, not that it has been categorized or reviewed.
Connect Gmail or Google Workspace
Connecting Gmail or Google Workspace is optional in the Documents and receipts setup task. When the connection is available, choose Connect Google Workspace and review the access shown by Google. The setup page describes it as read only and revocable from your Google account.
If a document does not appear
- Confirm that the upload finished and that the current company is selected in Median.
- Check the file type and limit displayed in the upload window. If the file does not meet them, use the company forwarding address if one is available.
- If the upload reports an error or the forwarding address is not provisioned, send the message to your accountant through Inbox.
