A few things you may be wondering.

Does bookkeeping include my S corp tax return?

Monthly bookkeeping and business tax filing are separately priced. Business tax filing starts at $1,499 a year. We agree the returns and work included before the engagement begins.

Do I have to be an S corp to work with you?

No. We also discuss ongoing bookkeeping with eligible US owner-led services businesses using other entity structures. This page does not recommend a particular entity election.

What will the first call cover?

You’ll speak with Jacob, Median’s co-founder, for 20 minutes about your business, the state of your books and what you want handled. We discuss fit and the next steps. You do not need to upload financial records or pay to book.

What if my books are behind?

We review the historical work before you start. Migration is included with ongoing bookkeeping. Catch-up and cleanup work are separately quoted, so you can decide with the full scope in front of you.

Will I have a real accountant?

Yes. A real accountant reviews the bookkeeping work and answers questions on business days. Complex questions and additional work follow an agreed scope and timeline.
